    Unfortunately, standardization work in the field of doors and gates and the accessories concerned is currently at a European impasse. Many standards have been technically completed, but the final harmonization is missing. Christian Kehrer heads the ift certification body and is a lecturer at the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. He is a long-standing member of national and international committees for standardization, technology and various associations.
