On 17.10.2019 Interconnection Consulting realized the 1st Vienna Door + Gate Convention in the Palais Coburg. According to the motto of the conference “Strategies I Visions I Innovations”, the speakers shared their visions about the future potentials around doors and gates with the plenum. As opening speaker Ewald Müller (AluKönigStahl / Schüco) presented the status quo of the aluminum door, whereby the topics of sustainability and sensor technology were also presented as future carriers, as comfort and accessibility were presented as trend topics.

In his presentation on CE marking, Anton Resch (AMFT) illustrated basics, classification systems and general problems in standardization, which, due to the increasingly complex requirements of the European Union, are leading to an increasingly complex situation for manufacturers and the market in general. In the following panel discussion Anton Resch negotiated the topic with Alexander Riemer (AluKönigStahl), Thomas Braschel (Gaulhofer) and the certification expert of ift Rosenheim, Christian Kehrer.
